While attending OCC I was accepted into the oldest community college honor society that exists, Phi Theta Kappa. I also was a gender studies intern for Dr. Jessica Alabi. While interning for Dr. Alabi I was responsible for study skills sessions for her current students, and also organizing a women's history month event.
