Marketing Intern- The Bead Shop of Laguna
As part of my Communications degree at California State University Fullerton was an intern for a local Southern California shop. The shop was taken on by new owners this past year.
Situation I was presented with: Due to an article in the local paper the community of Laguna Beach was lead to believe that their beloved Bead Shop of Laguana had closed.
My Solution: As the marketing intern I have taken on the tasks of raising awareness through negotiation with the local radio station as well as negotiation with new advertising ventures that have been presented to Laguna Beach (specifically Firebrand media's One Laguna). I have also taken on social media and learned how to create effective advertisements, and messages for all social media platforms.

In my communications 351 class I was asked to write a press release for an event that my team and I proposed. The event was called the Fit For Freedom Race and was created in order to raise fund for an organization called The International Princess Project. Event Proposal for The International Princess Project

For my communications 351 class my team was assigned a project were we created a potential event for a non profit organization. Together my team members and I developed an event proposal for a nonprofit organization called The International Princess Project. The proposal was for grading purposes only and was not actually implemented by the organization, nor was it submitted to the organization, but it does give a good example of my work.
